Description
This ouput will refer to:
-
designing two qualifications in line with lifelong learning provisions: Adult Trainer & Social Responsibility Facilitator;
-
developing the concrete course curricula and assessment standards. Partners will create the methodological basis for the ILPO55 course and for the learning activities in general and the structure of the course, as a syllabus based on a set of knowledge, skills and competencies that a the over 55 FSS employees (and unemployed) must achieve;
-
elaborating a description of the structure and the content of the ILPO55 blended training program to proceed in building the didactic model; we will provide a setting up of the methodological learning requirements, mixing the traditional learning with e-Learning and self-instruction.
In this Output, MCAST, in collaboration with EFFEBI, have worked towards the development of the curricula for the ILPO55 Professional Training Programmes.
A total of two professional training programmes have been developed, each at EQF level 5. These two qualifications represent a professional opportunity for Over 55 employees and/or experts in the banking and financial sector to update and broaden their career prospects. In addition, they are in line with national and European policies in the field of age management.
A description of each qualification can be found in the links below:
-
Adult Trainer Qualification
-
Financial Services Sector Social Responsibility Facilitator
Both Training Programmes have been piloted with Over 55 individuals from the Financial Services Sector through the ILPO55 piloting phase. Feedback gathered from the piloting phase was used in order to update and finalise the programmes, thus ensuring their relevance to the need of the industry.
Following the completion of the project, interested candidates will be able to follow any of the two training programmes in one of the institutions listed below, according to the tentative schedule listed below. It is important to note that there might be factors which cause changes in the following schedule and therefore it is recommended that interested candidates contact the institution for more information. Details of all Partner Organisations can be found here.

TRAINING MATERIAL
The Programmes developed as part of the ILPO55 project where piloted in various partner countries during the Piloting Phase. This was conducted in the following countries by the following Partners:
-
Malta – MCAST, ifs Malta, MUBE
-
Italy – Associazione Effebi, Università Telematica UNINETTUNO
-
Romania – ANUP International
-
Spain – IEF
-
The Netherlands – NIBE SVV
Each Partner piloted a unit from a qualification of their choice. Units were distributed amongst partners so as to ensure maximum coverage, in an attempt to have all units piloted simultaneously. Units were piloted with representatives of the banking and financial services industry aged 50 plus. Various approaches were followed, but every instance included an element of blended and/or online learning. Partners made use of different Learning Management Systems or Training Platforms which were available to them at the time of piloting. Training Material based on the unit descriptors (linked above) and the Instructor guidelines developed as part of Output 5 of the project (available below) was prepared by each partner. Piloting was conducted in the Partners’ mother language and this is reflected in the material prepared.
The material used in each piloting instance can be found below.
